Register as a volunteer for our events

Thanks for your interest in volunteering for our 13th annual Guts and Glory Community Wellness Festival 2026! 

Volunteer REGISTRATION IS OPEN is open through the day of our event on October 3rd.

Your participation illustrates your commitment to the health of the community you serve and is associated with a community-wide effort that is positively impacting people’s lives.  Please note the 2026 at Jim Dietrich Park.

We are assembling a team of passionate volunteers and community do-gooders who want to help run our festival and have a huge community impact in spreading a message of wellness and inspiring Berks Countians to take action to live healthier lives. With your help, we hope to make this year our biggest and most successful health fest yet! 

There are 3 volunteer shifts as follows:

10am – 12pm

12pm – 2pm

2pm – 4pm

A multitude of jobs are available which include setting up décor and placement of booths at the start of the event, manning our registration table to welcome guests and hand out swag, running our photo booth, vendor navigators, booth sitters when vendors must leave their booth for short periods, crowd rousers in vegetable costumes, assisting the DJ with the live program, and take down/clean-up.

Your participation in Guts and Glory illustrates your commitment to the health of the community you serve and is associated with a community-wide effort that is positively impacting people’s lives. We would greatly appreciate your time and talent to make this event a success and hope you will join us at Guts and Glory this year!

High school and college students are encouraged to apply for volunteer hours!

Volunteer Certificate of Participation for credit hours is available upon request. All volunteers are invited and welcome to join us at any of our promotional events and activities throughout the summer to market Guts and Glory.
